A motorcyclist injured in a crash in North York Wednesday night has died in hospital, Toronto police said.

The collision occurred at approximately 7 p.m. as the motorcyclist was heading southbound on Leslie St., near Corning Rd., and collided with a Jeep.

The motorcyclist, a man believed to be in his 30s, was rushed to hospital with serious injuries and later died, police said.

The driver of the Jeep was not injured.

Police continue to investigate.
