A 45-year-old woman is in serious but non-life threatening condition after she was struck by a Porter Express bus on Queens Quay Sunday.

Police say they received multiple calls for the collision in the Queens Quay West and York St. area at around 4:50 p.m.

The woman was breathing when police arrived, but they said her injuries were quite grave.

Paramedics took the woman to St. Michael’s hospital in serious condition.

The circumstances surrounding the incident are still unclear.

Police have closed eastbound lanes on Queens Quay west near York St. to investigate the collision.
