Stop racial profiling and discrimination at RBC
Have you been the victim of racial profiling or improper conduct at RBC in general which violates your human rights pursuant to the Canadian Charter of Rights and Freedoms? RBC is subjecting people to discriminatory treatment while hypocritically claiming to be a discrimination-free environment.
Let us stand together and demand that RBC treat everyone with the fairness and respect they deserve, while also imploring anyone who feels that their rights have been infringed to take their complaint to the Canadian Human Rights Commission. In one particular incident, an RBC manager demanded ID from a black man that he knew so well that he called out to him via Skype.
In another incident, RBC harassed a black male who has just taken a cheque issued by a large financial institution to deposit. The RBC teller faced with this cheque began to interrogate the black man about the origins of the cheque -- as if it was not legitimate. The incident was perpetrated in front of other RBC clients which was demeaning and caused this client mental anguish. We are all God's children and such activity by RBC conflicts with their obligations with the Canadian Human Rights Commission.
There have been other incidents reported in the media and anyone who has experienced discrimination at RBC has a right to file a complaint with the Canadian Human Rights Commission.
