How to get Trump to stop referring to Canada as the 51st state
Liberal leadership candidate Frank Baylis was arguably correct when he blamed Prime Minister Justin Trudeau for travelling to meet Trump at his private Mar-a-lago mansion for an impromptu dinner meeting in order to encourage Trump to spare Canada from his wrath regarding his so-called "America First" agenda. But, Trudeau's plan backfired. The result of Trudeau's strategy was that Trump began to publicly obsess about making Canada a "51st state".
Since that time, other Canadian politicians have made a dubious "pilgrimage" to Washington D.C. and other parts of the States in an effort to lobby Trump along with his officials and U.S. governors in an effort to get them to work together in order to "spare" Canada from Trump's outrageous tariffs. These Canadian politicians' approach has been doomed to failure for the simple fact that Trump is only interested in seizing control of Canadian resources as he has sought to rape and pillage Ukraine of its natural resources.
Trump is not interested in any Canadian offer which does not result in Trump seizing control of Canada.
It seems that Canada's premiers have failed to figure this out. Fortunately, Prime Minister Trudeau has figured this out, prompting him to travel to Europe to explore military security partnerships to deter Trump's planning of a military invasion of Canada in order to seize Canadian natural resources.
Most recently, Trudeau met with Canada's official head of state who is King Charles III, in order to consolidate a prospective Commonwealth response to Trump's planned military invasion.
It is apparent in Trump's "detente" with Russia's Putin and when Trump invited the Chinese leader to his inauguration that Trump only respects the capacity of a country to defend itself from him when it comes to his foreign policy.
Therefore, if we, as Canadians want Trump to stop harassing us, we need to expedite our military preparedness to resist an American military invasion through the following steps:
1 - Immediately request that the Canadian Armed Forces activate all reservists and ask that they report to the nearest Canadian military base,
2 - Ask King Charles III to request that British prime minister Starmer present to the British House of Commons a parliamentary resolution to guarantee the territorial integrity of Canada in case of a U.S. invasion and to immediately lend Canada military personnel as determined by King Charles III;
3 - Call an emergency meeting of the Commonwealth to request more military personnel from parliamentary resolutions of Commonwealth member nations;
4 - Call an emergency meeting of La Francophonie to request more military personnel with the goal of a combined 100,000 combat ready soldiers in Canada supported by air force defence systems and naval capabilities provided by the United Kingdom and France. Position Canadian and French military commands in Quebec and position joint Canadian and British operations across the rest of Canada supported by the Royal British Navy in Canada's Arctic, Atlantic Canada, the Great Lakes, and the Pacific.
5 - Once there's sufficient military personnel to secure Canada's north and other areas from a surprise American attack, Canada should begin to kick-out one American diplomat out of the country for every time the Trump regime utters "51st state".
Canada's response to Trump has been civilized. But, based upon Trump's stated desire is doomed to failure, accomplishing no more than stroking the ego of a madman who doesn't respect Canadian sovereignty because as Trump stipulates, Canada is "militarily weak".
Canada must begin to fortify itself militarily in order to ensure that Canadian sovereignty survive the "Orwellian" foreign policy agenda of Trump's desired "Brave New World". Canada must stop pandering to America and must begin to flex a military power which Canada has not since World Wars I and II.
Trump's foreign policy agenda is a mafia-style extortion racket designed to use perceived American power to subvert sovereign nations.
As soon as we can secure our borders from Trump's priming for a U.S. military invasion, Trump will have to begin to respect Canadian sovereignty. Trump will begin to provide us with a respect based upon our military capacity to defend ourselves and assert our will to defend ourselves from Trump's fascistic "Brave New World" agenda.
