We, the undersigned pledge to economically boycott Gatineau until Maude Marquis-Bissonnette ceases and desists from the following similar reactionary behaviours to Donald Trump south of the border:

1 - Oppression of diversity exemplified by the lack of any festival in Gatineau which celebrates cultural diversity from its significant African population and other minority groups;

2 - Seeking to force human rights victim(s) to turn over their private including medical records and even university transcripts to the police;

3 - Sought lawless manipulation of judges and the courts through vexatious and quarrelsome conduct aimed to harass human rights victims(s);

4 - Intimidation of government employees who seek to protect the public from human rights abuses by Ville de Gatineau;

5 - Allowing police officer(s) who are convicted for assault to continue to be police officer(s) resulting in further human rights abuses by those officer(s)

6 - Conspiracy to deny language minorities the right to a state-supported court interpreter that is readily available to language minorities in Ontario and other court jurisdiction outside of Quebec.

7 - Police brutality, including threatening to arrest pedestrians from minority groups, who don't have a Drivers License in their possession.

8 - Selective prosecution by police which includes police targeting minorities through outrageous "jaywalking tickets" designed to perpetrate harassment against minority groups. 

 9 - Horrific racial profiling by police which Gatineau city council has not redressed which has recently resulted in the Quebec Human Rights Commission endorsements of a $18,000 and $44,000 human rights claim against the Ville de Gatineau.  

Canadians are aware of the abuses of human rights and the due process of law which are being perpetrated by the Donald Trump administration south of the border.  But, most Canadians are completely unaware of the kind of abuses which are being perpetrated under the auspices of Gatineau's mayor Maude Marquis-Bissonnette. 

Let's oppose the Ville de Gatineau together!
