Driver flees scene after collision sends one man to trauma centre
Two drivers were involved in a serious collision early Wednesday morning in Scarborough.
Toronto Police tweeted about the crash at Sheppard Ave. E. and Brimley Rd. at 1:24 a.m.
One of the drivers, a man in his 50s, was taken to Sunnybrook Hospital trauma centre with head injuries and fractures, Toronto paramedics said.
He appears to be at fault in the collision, police from 42 Division said.
The other driver, a man in his 20s, fled the scene on foot and was last seen wearing a white shirt and dark pants, police said.
