Pinemount Announces Approval Decision by Ontario Land Tribunal (LPAT)
TORONTO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Pinemount Developments Ltd. www.pinemount.ca (“Pinemountâ€) today announced that on April 7, 2021, the Local Planning Appeal Tribunal of Ontario through a decision delivered by S. Tousaw and Order of the Tribunal, that the plan for redevelopment of the property located at 600 James Street North, Hamilton, Ontario and owned by a subsidiary company of Pinemount, into a 9 storey 55 unit multi-family residential building, contributes to the definition of ‘complete community’ and that all height, parking, and transition proposals made by Pinemount for the redevelopment of this property represents good planning in the public interest.
The Tribunal also found that the redevelopment of the property as proposed by Pinemount conforms with official plan and zoning standards of the community, thus approving the proposed planned development in its entirety.
