Etobicoke North GO station is clear and service has resumed for passengers on the Kitchener Line after a CN freight train derailed early Thursday morning.

At 4:30 a.m., several empty box cars on the freight train overturned near Kipling Ave. and Highway 409. There were no injuries, CN confirmed.

“We ask that passengers using Etobicoke North GO please be careful around the work area,” GO Transit said.
